A History of Love and Rescue
Why Lily & Kin
As a puppy, Lily was being given away due to a compound leg fracture. We were off to find her a forever family but days became months: our first foster fail. Lily lived through many foster dogs coming and going. She was the belle of the ball and she was our love. Lily died April 2026, just shy of turning 13. She left us gutted but with resolve to do something bigger.

Us
Kathryn and Mark Hall have been giving their time, money, home and sleep to help dogs in need for over 20 years. They have volunteered with numerous animal rescues and shelters, and have fostered dozens of dogs, newborn through senior, with a lean toward medical cases. Their experiences have filled them with joy and heartbreak. Kathryn and Mark would like to continue their work on a bigger scale helping those in need in Southern California and hopefully beyond.

Collected moments with Lily, our family, and some of the rescued dogs who became part of our story.
